Help. My fault or yours?

first time i've launched Immortal Fire in a long time and I got this window below. FOG2 then CTD.

this is the Steam version. i have all DLCs. All work except for Persia and Immortal.

Unless you have modded your STEAM build, it looks like it has not updated correctly.
Please go to your STEAM library then
1) Right click on Field of Glory.
2) Click Properties
3) Click Local Files
4) Click Verify Integrity of Game Files
That ought to fix the issue, which is due to your build having an old version of one of the script files (MoreScenarioTools.BSF) missing the DeleteRemovedUnits() function. (It was not present in the the previous version - v1.5.3 - but is in v1.5.12)
If you have modded your STEAM build, I have to reiterate the usual advice that you should never ever mod your main game build - this is just one of the problems that could arise from doing so. The game has its own mod system which completely avoids modding the main game build.
