I'd really like to see more trees along river hexes with (dense) forest or jungle. The amount of trees strangely only looks fine at the start and end of a river.
Note the first and last hex with river which are next to open ground tree hex fields. The other river-hexes sometimes even miss trees altogether which can falsely assume an open ground hex.

Mother Nature is not pleased!

Yeah, that would be my main reason to agree with you completely.

Although I should know this by now (and usually check river hexes manually), I still get fooled sometimes into thinking that most river hexes are open ground hexes.
