Hello there, having read other posts on this forum, I see I am not the only one having crash issues.
I downloaded the game from yourselves over the weekend, it came patched, as I found out after downloading the lastest patch to try to stop it crashing after Vercellae!
Is there any way to get around this problem? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and used a differant army, but it still crashes. Of course the main problem with this is that I cannot finish the Roman Campaign and unlock the Celts, so more than 1/2 the game is unaccessable to me... Which is really really irritating!

I am running Arena version: V 1.0101:1248
My machine specs:
P4 3.0
512mb 444DDR
Geforce FX 5600
C Media XEar 3D Sound

Can you send me a saved game and tell me what you need to do to make the crash occur and we will investigate the problem. Mail to support@slitheirne.co.uk.

I am having the same problem. When I click Campaign button after winning the battle of Vercellae it crashes to the desktop. When I go back into the game and open the Camp screen my army is about 4 battles back from Vercellae.

I tried playing it through again and it still crashes. Reinstalling the game did not help.

I just downloaded the game yesterday so I am assuming it came patched.

We have found problems in the patch and it has been withdrawn. Instead please use download V1.0101b and install. If you get the option to Repair then choose this, otherwise just install normally.

If you are having problems with the installer version we also have a backup in zip format available here. If you use the zip you will have to manually copy files to the correct place so we suggest you use the installer unless you know what you're doing! The zip file has one sub directory per language, and to get your copy working properly you need to ensure you copy the .str files from the appropriate language directory to the LegionArena\data directory on your PC.

If the problem persists, please let us know ASAP.

Hello again, tried the patch installer, I get the message:

"Setup detected that you have the digital download version of Legion Arena. The digital download already contains this patch. There is no need to continue."

Is there a download of an earlier version I could get? I will try the Zip file next...

My game is working now but I patched it manually.

Support sent me a link to a zip file. I copied the files over the originals at

C:\Program Files\Slitherine\LegionArena\DB

Ah yes, sorry I ammended the message but removed the important bit of information for anyone with the Legion Arena digital download and not Cult of Mithras.

You need this zip file instead. I have updated the installer so you can download the whole file again, or you can manually copy over the files in this zip file to your games DB directory. It your choice 600MB installer or 100k zip file
