I know that “Field of Glory Empires” is not even out yet but I think that its engine would be ideal for a remake of AGEOD “Great Invasions” game due quite some time ago and which does run on Windows 10. I love the time period but have never really got into playing it as I prefer my games to be turn based or WeGo rather that RTS. Also with the release of “Wolves At the Gate” for FOG II we will have pretty much all of the Troop types / images needed to cover the 200 to 1040 ish AD time period of “Great Invasions”.

Love the idea of a mega campaign starting around 1000 bc to 1000 ad.
Fog2 has all the units needed to cover this uge time period...
I think I'll buy an expansion / dlc like this...

I agree! I really loved the old Great Invasions game, despite being buggy and complicated. So would also love a sequel to it.
