I have posted on the French speaking forum but just wondered if there are any Wargaming Brits now living anywhere between Cahors and Rodez areas interested in gaming in this region? I know there are 1000`s of ex-pats in that area and by law of averages there must be some wargamers about my age (56) there. This is of course going to be open to local players also I think my French can run to that.
I spend nearly half my year there so a local opponent would be nice.
I also intend to start a local club there when I soon retire and have converted a lower barn ground floor to this end. Tables and scenery are done and the room is finished.

The second post you have used to make others jealous tonight.

Apologies.
Certainly not my intention.
I felt that being new here I would be politically right to state where my thoughts are coming from and qualify my "raison d`etre"
I guess from your answer that we will not see you at the club?

Au contraire.
Its great to see people doing so well and using that to play soldiers. Doesn't stop me being jealous though.
Perhaps I should have added a smiley, I'm not v good at humour though. IMO if it doesn't hurt its funny. And then it depends who it hurts. (Big Bugs Bunny fan)

Hi GUYS ,

to play in Tournaments you will be welcome in Montpellier in June 2009 to meet players from the south of France and not on the Forum and some of the north of France ;
