Multiple move madness

I will let the pictures do the talking and can't wait to hear how this was possible. This is taken after my opponents second move. He made multiple group move attempts took them back and tried again. Each time the resultant group move end position was different and closer. Finally he made individual unit moves some of which were charges of greater than 10 squares (couldn't be bothered counting them). He had initially deployed between the enclosures and BUA on his own baseline. Yes that is his elephant in the bottom left corner in the second picture . Also look at his cavalry behind my lines on the right of the picture. That is the pursuit end position after the plus 10 square charge. Can someone explain this?

Looks like someone read the RBS post about the group undo bug and is actively using it. Terrible sportsmanship if that is case

I fear you are probably correct Mike. That would definitely explain what Cunningcairn has witnessed.

ban the player, as using a known bug which not only is poor sportsmanship but who would trust them again? i know i wouldn't wish to play them a 2nd time after it, not that i play online now days,

to do a move once is a mistake, to do it a few times to gain an advantage is a cheat, and cheats need to be banned,...

I assume some sort of due process is in order but if what Cunningcairn says is true, it seems pretty cut and dry.

I personally would consider this to be cheating. Sadly, there are a # of players that would say this is ok. "If the engine allows, it is legal" crowd...

Are you suggesting I'm lying?

Hey cunning, I wouldn’t take it that way, I think what was meant was even the sketchiest act by an individual merits an official “explain yourself before judgment” from the powers that be. I mean it’s possible ( not plausible) that the perp had a seizure, his cat or dog made the moves while he was in the John , his keyboard was full of spaghetti sauce from a dinner time mishap.... ;).

I understand fully as many of my not so good moves are made by one of the two Cairn terriers on my lap. What has happened here is bizarre but not cheating. It is quite evident from the replay what he did so he wasn't hiding anything. Anyway we are playing a friendly game for Pete's sake. Thanks to everyone for the explanation of what happened.

i am the opponent in that battle , but the truth is somewhere in between

i only did it to tease cunningcairn , i actually surendered the battle on 2nd turn i believe because the damage has Already* been done when i accidentaly moved my cavalry out of its natural limits because of the bug, those who know the bug understand what i m talking about)

i have played over 300 or 400 battles so far with many , if not hundreads of players and i love the game, trust me i have no intention to use the exploit in that way but i also do not consider my move unrighteous because of the context and my intention (sending that elephant there is not the most serious move)

Soon the patch will hopefully fix that bugg as RBS said

It's gotta be the cat. They are known to be very dishonest, even conniving.

Both my Cairns agree wholeheartedly with you!

Definitely the cat. Mine sits between me and the keyboard watching my mistakes in the battle with contempt.
