what is the proper way to announce an update to a custom scenario?

I have updated the Anzio Beach scenario and reposted it for pickup at the link:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/r1f6d402p ... 1.zip/file
and I have updated the discussion page where the link is posted to describe the modifications effected.
Is there a formal way to announce scenario updates?
thanks--
conboy

You'll remember that we set it up so that the link in your announcement which is posted in the Custom Scenarios thread goes to a thread of your making. We do it this way for this very reason; when you have an update, you can then edit your own thread as to the link where you have your file stored and you can bump your thread as an announcement of your update. The thread that you linked to is here:
http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 74&t=87989 and you can see it's the same link as the one shown in the Custom Scenarios announcement (which is locked):

As a matter of fact, I believe you have already updated your own thread. Now all you have to do is bump it.

Create a new post in your thread. This will bump the thread to the top of the list.
If you have nothing important to state in the post, just write 'bump'
This is common practice.
