Re shooting POA, as i understand it, you do not net off opponent POA if two opponents are shooting at one another - for example longbows shooting at crossbows - longbows do not get any POA against medium protected foot so they hit on 4's, crossbows have a - POA so hit on 5's

Can anyone confirm?

Shooting is not calculated like a melee.

It is calculated by BG being shot upon, whoever and however many are shooting.

Being shot in reply causes no difference in that same shooting phase. (excepting possible cohesion test after all shooting is complete)

Test are caused by at least 3 hits per base upon the target and it does not matter how many hits the target did to anybody else. D'oh

Hey Zulu, good catch.

Maybe my crossbows will have a somewhat fighting chance against your longbows now? Hmmm?

Only if the crossbows are behind cover. Crossbows should always run for the nearest enclosed field if other missile armed troops are present.
