Later Hungarian list question

Making my list for a possible trip to Little wars coming up on Feb 7th.. I encountered this.. The minima marked * apply if any handgunners(other than the ones assumed to be making up part of war wagon crews) are used... I went ahead and bought the spearmen... not taking any handgunners. The way i read it.. If i took hand gunners then i would HAVE to buy at least 8 stands of the spear and/or LF support.. By buying the spearmen, i do not have to.. I just want to make sure as i dont want to enter a tourney with a bad list.
