Ave
I received this message from Iain yesterday.
"If we were able to allow you to create your own missions would that interest anyone? It would not be fully featured and would be painful to use!"
What do you think?

Hi Speedius,
Hail!! I say, give it a try!! More scenarios the better!!
I just got LA running again without the patch, and I have defeated Crixus at Grannacus in 52 seconds, since 8 seconds are lost do to the bug in the original game. It took about 8 tries though, until a massed cavalry charge on Crixus' right flank proved the way to do it, for me anyway.
If I had that extra 8 seconds, it would have been eadier. Might be possible to download the patch to another folder like LA patch folder, and try finding the Grannacus battle file and putting it in the regular LA folder.

Ave Iain,
IIRC this mission item is all about, if there is no data then fight to the finish, ie. no objectives, yes? It also involves binary numbers and hex editors too, yes? I'll be very interested to see how you can explain this to us. Remembering always the old maxim, KISS, Keep It Smart & Simple!!!

No hex editors required - it's all using tools or text files. Havign said that it's not simple. I've tried to explain it all in the sticky at the top of the forum, but there are bound to be questions as people get going!

Ave Iain,
Thank you for your message.
I've taken a copy of your sticky and pasted it into Excel.
May I respectfully suggest a .pdf version which can be downloaded and printed. I think anyone trying this mod is going to have to refer back to your sticky many, many times.
This is going to be the biggest mod of Legion Arena ever.
Who's Havign? Could it be a typo, having?
