Blitzkrieg to Panzerkrieg

I worked though Blitzkrieg (I just play against AI) and have finished that scenario and then opened my download of Panzerkrieg and expected to be able to move my experienced units to the next round. I didn't see how to do this, what did I do wrong?

You'll have to export your core first, using the "export" button found when clicking on the "Wehrmacht" UI icon in the campaign screen.
