Bizarre colour of units

Hi, I've just opened a MP game and I see the following bizarre psychedelic colouring of my lancers. It may not affect the play-ability of the game, but it just looks odd... and I'm concerned that the enemy will see the units in the woods more easily!
I have recently downloaded a mod to enable me to play in the Biblical league, but this isn't a match that I created, I've merely accepted one created by my opponent.
Any suggestions regarding what I should do?
P.S. I can't save and quit without selecting my army (or I don't know how) so I have to use task manager to get out of the game.

I had this issue in Battle Academy long time ago. It should be the model skin file missing. Reinstall the mod may help.

Yes, it means that the texture is missing. Does this MP game use a mod?

Has the mod been installed correctly? If it has been put in the main installation you could have problems like this. All mods have to go in the My Documents/My Games/FieldofGlory2/Campaigns path.
Of course, it might not necessarily be you who has installed the mod incorrectly, it might be your opponent!

This game doesn't use a mod (at least not to my knowledge). The mod I recently installed was for the Biblical section of the Digital league, the instructions are as follows...
Players will need to have the base game, the Immortal Fire and the Rise of Persia DLC's, and you will also need to download the TT mod (v1.5.3) to enter this section. You can get the TT multiplayer mod from here . . .

What were the two armies involved in the affected game? Who took the first turn in the game?
If your opponent has modded his build with additonal textures, then this would happen if he played the first turn and the game allocated one of the extra textures to the unit, because that texture would not be on your system.
Please can you ask you opponent whether he has modded his main build?
The internal checks within the game will detect a diiference in scripts between the two players’ build, but not a difference in textures.
As we have said before, people should avoid modding their main builds, because this is the sort of thing that can occur in MP games if one player has modded his build. Usually it will be the player who has NOT modded his built who will notice issues.

No idea what caused the problems; I use only the mods (1.53?) that were posted. I will delete the old game after 7 days.
