I have played this game for months and haven't changed any of the settings on my computer. The last few days I wanted to play, I can't get the game to start.
I hit play game, then hit Play! on the config screen, then I get 3 seconds worth of a black screen with the mouse cursor visible and then back to the BASPM launch manager on my desktop.
I read a few of the related threads on this here and tried the fixes, but nothing worked for me so far.

Open the game installation folder. find a file named "SPM-Windows.exe" and run it. Can you run the game now?

Same problem

I played with a few settings and found 'run with with graphics processor'. It keeps crashing on my nVidia GPU but works with the intel integrated graphics.
