Hey, they`re already succesful!!! :)

...about prosperity, I don't know :? . Maybe they should turn to Doom 3-like FPS or some great Starcraft carbon-copy RTS  What about some good-ole RPG a la Bioware...turn-based-pausable-real-time?

Bye

P.S. Sorry for the emoticons, just messing with them...

Hi,

I have played Legion, found it lacked a bit of what I was looking for. I bought Chariots of War months ago and then forgot about it until a few weeks ago then started playing it. Pleasently surprised at the progress that has been made in the genre by Slitherine, and makes me hopefull for your upcoming titles. A few questions come to mind about them if you please:

Is Legion Arena real time or turn based or something in between?

It sounds like the idea heare is to play against AO (artificial opponents, sorry if my typing is difficult but reading black on a grey background is hard for me) rather than other players similarly ranked. I was curious as to why you did not go for that arrangement? I enjot head to head play using miniatures and was hoping for something similar. :)

I am looking forward to its release, good luck to you all.

If you liked the changes of CoW in relation to Legion, and you like the game in general, you might want to try Spartan and Gates of Troy. The games (also from Slitherine) are an evolutionary step above the other two and very enjoyable.

If Legion Arena is going to be released as a single-player standalone game, as stated in another part of the Forum, rather than an online player-vs-AI series of battles, it means I can actually play it! It would be especially welcome if they can do this without giving up the online thing entirely, for those who thrive on online play. The evolution from Legion One to CoW, then CoW to Spartan and Troy, was significant. If Slitherine can continue this rate of development, Arena should be a serious market contender, in spite of the relatively limited promotional options.
