I got this error when I want to start a historic Alexander the great campaign
I have done the latest update

Was this a game using the Silk Road mod?

If so I fear that you will have to restart the game, as the old version of Silk Road does not work with v1.5.3, and the new version won't work with an existing MP game.

This is because the (user created) campaign includes a modded script that is not compatible with v1.5.3.

We will look into correcting that ASAP.

In the meantime, if you delete the following file the campaign should work fine (with some generals' names perhaps not working correctly).

/Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2/CAMPAIGNS/ALEXANDERCAMPAIGN2/RANDOMGENERALNAME.BSF

Please report any other user content that is giving script errors.

The old version of TT Mod will not work with game version v1.5.3, and the new version won't work with battles started with the old version.

There is however, a workaround, that will allow you to finish your games. For MP both players will need to do this. (Generals names will be messed up, but the games will play out normally.)

Download the new versions of TT Mod then:

1) If you have not deleted the old versions from your system.

Copy the file

RandomGeneralName.BSF

from /Data/Scripts in one of the new folders, then copy it to the same place in all of the old folders.

All of the folders will be found in

/Documents/My Games/FieldofGlory2/CAMPAIGNS (for SP custom battles and campaigns) and /Documents/My Games/FieldofGlory2/MULTIPLAYER (for MP custom battles)

2) If you have deleted the old folders from your system.

Copy the new folders and rename the copies the same as the old version - I am not sure exactly how it was named - perhaps someone who still has it could post the filename here.
