I'm starting a 100YW english army and wish to have advices on the right number of casting per base for the bowmen:
should i adopt the dbx standard of considering the regular and put 4 figures per base or put only 3 (that makes a lot of time since I plan 40 bases of longbowmen ...) ?
thanks for the advice...

It depends whether you are ever likely to play DBM. If you think you might, and want them based properly for that game, then base them 4 to a base. Although it doesn't really matter in DBM anyway, especially in friendly games.
You may also think they look better based four to a base. And if you adopt the DBM convention it allows you to distinguish between drilled and undrilled bowmen.
But if you want to save money and time then just base them three to a base.

Hi There
I have both BG with 3 and 4 to a base makes no difference its personal choice i have played with both types on the field. Whatever takes your fancy.

I'd recommend both.
That way if you choose to field both drilled and undrilled as in Wars of the Roses for example, you have a very clear way of distinguishing the two.
Other than that it doesn't really matter.
