I asked this question on the Matrix website, but I haven't received any response!!

"I remember reading the earlier posts that the AI pretty much ignored North Africa. I've done a search, but I can't find as to whether this has been corrected with any of the patches?? Has this been taken care of?"

Thanks,

The AI system had to be overhauled in order to work well with the extra fronts in Africa and we found no good solution so unfortunately we decided it was not worth doing.

But as you can see from reviews http://www.slitherine.com/games/ceaw
There is a whole lot of ppl finding the game fun regardless, despite it not being perfect. ;)

Johan, Thanks for the candid reply. Is there any difference between the Matrix version and the Slitherine version? I see that one patch will not work on the other's ??

Their gameplay is identical, but due to installation procedures they have different patches.
