Probably violating some protocol with this thread, but I play for an hour, save a game, and when I go to load it the next day I get an error which says that the game was saved by a previous version of the game and cannot be loaded.

What is up with this?

More importantly, how can I fix it?

I loaded in the 1.07 patch and it made no improvement with this problem.

Sorry you are having problems.

Are you using the demo?

Did you save before you patched and then tried to load, as this would not work. Try saving a new game and loading that.

ibafoo, this probably isn't your deal, but...

There is a quirk in the game whereby if you just type in the name of the save file, without the .DATA on the end, it gives that error. I have encountered this when creating a fresh save, and then trying to load that save.
