Is there something wrong with the player goodies trigger in ES 03 Smolensk? I killed 2xT34-43 way before turn 17 but didn't recieve any award.

As far as my poor understanding there should be a popup and a reward with captured T34-43? Posting pics from the editor.

It's working. It's just a goody, unrelated to objectives, but it does work as designed.

I tested it:

What may be throwing you is that the destroyed Soviet tanks must be T-34 Mod. 1943 (look at the Unit Definition in the Check Unit Count condition in that trigger). There are only three of those in the scenario and what murks things up a bit is that there are also several T-34 Mod. 1941 and 1942 in here as well:

I think bru has it right, you need to destroy the exact version, so 2 x m1943 for this. But if you attach a safe I could also look into it and give you a definite answer.

Actually, it's all three T-34 Mod. 1943 tanks killed that's needed, to be accurate:

The problem with the objective is that one of the three T-34 1943 tanks is assigned to be in the Soviet Reinforcements (AI team 13) according to the game. These units are set to Idle defense. You can play the entire mission and only encounter 2/3 tanks being on the defensive. Only by reaching the far center-east of the map before turn 17 and destroying the idle T-34/43 will you be able to get the objective in Smolensk 43'.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but i would say that under the current AI scheme it's near impossible to secure this objective unless you are playing on the lower difficulty levels or know about this already.

Captured units are not objectives in ES though - they are something you *can* get if you explore a scenario and find out (or alternatively, when you're into spoilers, and just look for them in the editor ;))

They are not something that should be taken for granted, though some are easier to get than others.

That being said, I do check this one if it is too strict.
