I'm looking for some favorite settings to use from other players.
Thanks for any opinions.

Huge maps, normal terrain, normal resources, no starting development, despotism for all factions, few factions widely spread, easy or medium difficulty. That generally leads to a lot of time and space to develope before encountering other factions.

All the same except crowded world so lots of small countries to beat on early.
