Ladies and gentlemen the fog AM tournament will be held at Belgarum again on the last weekend of February, on the 23rd and 24th of February 2019.

The venue will again be the badger farm community centre at Sainsbury car park, Winchester Hampshire. . As well as an on site bar, we have a Starbucks news,t door, ample free parking and the supermarket for feeding.

This will be an open tournament played on 60" x 40" tables .

Each army is to be a maximum of 800 points but is allowed up to an additional 80 points of poor troops, therefore your army mm maximum could be 880 pts if maximum poor are taken..

Any poor troops must be available in the army choice list or its allies .

There will be three games on the Saturday each with a duration of three hours and there will be two games on the Sunday .

Payment details will be published shortly and will be the same method as last year but we will be collecting money at warfare as usual.

As well as prizes for first second and third as individuals the top three scores from each club member entering we used to decide the Club prize as well.

We will again be gathering on the Saturday evening for a meal for those that wish to join us.

What time does the first game start on the Saturday?

Hi Del - the flyer suggests a 10.00 am start on Saturday.

Apologies for any confusion.

As last year registration at 0900, 0930 latest start.

So games should run 0930 to 1230, 1300 to 1600, 1630 to 1930.

Day two will be 0930 to 1230, 13.15 to 1615.

Yes, some back and forth but almost there. Owain is doing a greet job , he says he is enjoying it.

Some classic mistakes though. Romans without fortified camps etc.

Just wanted to record my thanks to Alan, David, Owain, Martyn and everyone else who was involved in putting on another great weekend's wargaming. Glad I could stay for the whole event this year!

Err...not really.

Had a great game vs Steve where we knocked lumps out of each other but he got my camp - the only person to do - so ended 23-18.

And just managed to hold on vs Paul but went down 20-8 in the final game. Fortunately had a 14 point lead going into the game. My legions brought their practice pilums (pila?) instead of the real thing.
