Hi everyone

If the army list shows a special campaign army does that mean that the option is valid for competition use and in-club games?

Cheers.

Competition - up to the competition organisers but normally these are allowed.
In-club games - up to you and your fellow gamers. We normally play historic (or at least feasible) match-ups, so might say "bring an 800 point army from Rise of Rome", in which case yes, these would be allowed. However, if we were doing a specific pre-arranged match-up such as Carthaginians vs Spanish, then it wouldn't be on to use the "Hannibal in Italy" list options.

Hi Rob
Yes they can IMO as they are part of the army they just have to be dated from their special campaign, ie Late Crusaders is allowed Richard I from 1191 to 1192 if i remember correctly. In this case they take over from the other Spearmen and crossbow IMO.
