Hi fellow generals.

I recently just managed to get a MV on Sea Lion 40', Field Marshall.
Oh boy, it was HARD, I managed to get away without whole unit losses and never resupplied in battle.

The problem is that I only managed to snag a MV, and I did it by the last turn!
Now I read that in Sea Lion 42' things get even WORSE!

Is it really impossible to get a decent Sea Lion 42' DV?
My current air setup is 4 fighters (1-2 stars), 2 Stukas, 1 other Tac bomber and 2 Strat Bombers.

Awaiting suggestions! :D

Wish I knew. I never got to do SL 40. Maybe on my second playthrough I can try it

Imho Sea Lion 42 was easier than 40. I also struggled to win in 40, but in 42 i won rather easily. Maybe i was just more experienced :)
In all campaigns I go for 6 fighters as early as possible. Sometimes it feels like overkill, but I just hate to lose anything to air.

I did it in 40',decisive victory on Field Marshall.
Not bad for a newbie I guess :D

I did use 6 core fighters and proceeded to quickly wipe out Raf while my fleet wiped the Britons' ships supported by my bombers.

Landed my main attack force on turn 3 near Dover while my secondary force landed on the south western coast on turn 5-6 supported by massive ship bombardment.

After landing, it was a breeze with very few losses.
Lots of savescumming, though.

Now I could rush Moscow, but I want to take the scenic route so I can get Tigers to USA.
