Year 1: The Founding of the New City [Heroic; all settings default]

Located on fertile land blessed by rivers and a sheltered coastline, our people found the first major city of our land. We simply call it the New City. Resources of all types can be found within reach of workers from the city.

[Notes: The starting saw us with 2 nomads + 1 settler so one nomad was used for the establishment of the city, leaving the settler to work at connecting the mines by road to improve production.]

Year 15 Since the Founding

We control the fertile lands west of the New City and our people have connected the valuable gold resources to the south to the city as well. A second frontier city has been established in the hills to the south, for we do not know what people may live in those further regions. A strong city there will ensure our control.

A temple dedicated to Tanit, known in former times and distant lands as Ishtar, serves the people's spiritual needs. (And, being a fertility goddess, ahem...)
[Notes: Imperative to build a military unit in case neighbours to the south begin to encroach. We must push our borders further to the south. One reason for choosing Carthage in this AAR is the increased movement of their troops.)
