I have a simple question. How do you do screenshot!? I did it once, but forget how to.
On another note, I think it's hilarious all these people complaining about the rules of the game etc. I bet none of them ever played DBA.

Screenshots can be taken with F2 - they go to the SCREENS folder in Documents/My Games/FieldOfGlory2. Note that CTRL+F2 toggles a movie recording mode on and off which spews sequential screenshots into a named folder, so beware!

It just spews a screenshot each tick, allowing you to use your favorite tool to create a movie. Depending on your machine it may well be too slow to play though. It also uses a LOT of disk space, esp for uncompressed formats.
We should probably look at outputting a real movie format, but then you start off with a lossy source.

Pip. Just curious. There are many video tool around. Some paid, some free. Some comes with your OS (Windows Game Mode). Some included in the GPU firmware (Nvidia).

Curious about what? There was no question there

I tend to use the free Bink tools to create movies from them.

Oops. Why bother doing a video recorder within the game?

my guess would be because the engine can do it, and some games use it, only one so far, but it's been used all the same

Streaming, whether in realtime or via edited posts, is an ever-increasingly important part of how players play and share their games. So supporting it in a way which goes beyond something that only really we use seems like it would be a good use of time.
