Only reserve places available now in the FOG2 Digital League

Hello,
If you have never entered the FOG Digital League before you are invited to play in its third season which will start on Monday 1st October. There are 5 sections available again, but from this season onward players may only choose a maximum of four sections to play in. Each core league section will require you to play nine matches, while you will definitely get three matches in the Themed Event and you will play a maximum of nine matches if you reach the final of this section. The league season will last for ten weeks, closing on Sunday December 16th, so please make sure that you are not taking on too many matches. Perhaps the most important rule of all is that players will commit to finishing their fixtures. Players who fail to do so may be excluded from future seasons.
Following a discussion about the increasing number of drawn matches in the FOG2DL, where negative play is sometimes experienced, we have a slightly amended scoring system from this season onwards. In addition, players will be able to re-start matches by agreement up to two times if it is felt that the map is likely to produce a draw. There will also be a change to the way in which armies are allocated to players in the core league sections with the FOG2DL ratings playing a more prominent role in the process. Please be sure to spend a few minutes reading the "Rules of Competition" and "Players' Guide" before you start registering your army preferences.

It is also advised that you read the "Important: changes in the next patch 27/9" thread because the next update comes out just 4 days before the tournament opens. There will be some new changes that will substantially affect quite a few of the armies across the various sections.

I look forward to your participation.
