There is a -1 cohesion test penalty for: "Foot battle troops with threatened flank". For this purpose, does a Later Tercio have a threatened flank? I assume so, as the threat of a flank charge is there even if the tercio wouldn't be automatically disrupted, but a clarification would be nice.

Also, would a threatened rear also suffer the penalty?

No, but it can have a threatened rear.
