I don't know if this is a known bug, but planes still can shoot when they're out of ammo. This happens with single weapon aircraft like the Hurricane and Spitfire.

I'm playing the Beta (which, by the way, is stabilizing nicely).

Postman, if this problem with Out Of Ammo happens once again, could you send to us some screenshots and game log, maybe even save file?

I'll try to get you those files as soon as possible. I would suggest looking at the code that determines the eligibility of planes to shoot during the fire phase. My guess is that you're skipping a call or the like. It my most recent game, a blacked out pilot managed to shoot down a Bf 110! That's one talented pilot!
