Game of the Month

I was thinking this game lends itself, nicely, to a 'Game of the Month' format challenge, ala Civ.
Particularly with map seeding as opposed to a 'save file'.

The Civ Fanatics website has been offering 'Game of the Month' challenges for the Civ games for years.
I really think this game, Gladius, lends itself to that very same type of challenge for the community.

I think an elaboration would be more like this:

A game of the month is monthly competition where everyone starts with the same starting-savegame (or in this-case world-seed) and the player who beats it quickest (or survives longest) is declared winner.
The point is that everyone has the same conditions to make the result comparable.
People often write reports about how their games are going and afterwards can compare where others went differently. Reading reports of others while you are still playing is considered cheating in this regard.
Overall it's a learning-experience.

Yes, a better description then what I offered.:)
I would encourage anyone who is interested in this type of format/challenge to visit:

Ah okay that's cool. Although I would much prefer beating it or surviving x turns being the goal. It's the difference between thousands being able to win vs just 1 single person.
