Poeni foot pursue routers.

I'm just checking this is normal behaviour before I actually go and post a screenshot. A unit of my poeni foot pursued a routing unit and wound up causing a fragmentation to a unit behind them when they charged. I thought only raw infantry and warbands charged after routers?

EDIT: From the manual: '

Other foot never pursue after close combat. However, foot units that charge fragmented enemy who break before contact will pursue the routed enemy on that turn only.'

I did not charge a fragmented unit. The unit was fragmented after my Poeni infantry and a unit of irregulars flanked it.

Untrained Troops also have a chance to pursue. A units quality rating is the average of it's Experience and Elan ratings, these are in the Squads.csv file. Raw troops have an average rating of 50, and Average troops 100.

Most units have Experience and Elan ratings that are exactly the same, but the Poeni foot are unusual in that they have an Experience rating of 50 and an Elan rating of 150. So, overall they are rated as Average, but I assume that it is the Experience rating that determines whether they pursue or not, so for this they count as Raw/untrained. It is also what makes them unmaneuverable. So I would guess that this is WAD.

BTW, this is more a matter for the Beta forum, than a technical issue.

cheers
