It seems like there was a bit more than just maintenance done here! [Looks around in wonderment. ]

Shall we... or... shall we not ... speak about the new colours?
Are they voluntary or just a side effect waiting to apply another style?
will they stick or would you like to hear some feedback?

Wow, main forum looks great

I have to say the new look is pretty darn nice!

Now considering the that everything uses the same login credentials under the Unified Login System (both the store side of things and the forum) ideally the forum login page should probably be secured with https or something. Don't know how possible that is on the current/existing forum software but it likely is.

Another question: Does the user control panel on the forum set the password for the forum independently of the other logins? That would at least let folks set a different password for the forum if they wanted but that also kind of defeats the purpose of merged accounts and the Unified Login System in the first place.

Forums now have a mobile version. Now I have to get used to finding unread articles. Normal posts now mixed with stickied posts.

Now how do I get it to display the posters name back on the left hand side like normal?

Maybe this new Forum look is still being worked on, but I don't like it at the moment.

1) The Sticky Threads are not separated out from the regular posts. Making it hard to see what new threads have appeared.

2) On my mobile I cannot see if there have been any new posts in sub forums, without opening each one up.

3) I have 1 in a red circle next to Private Messages. What does this mean? I would assume that it means I have an unread message, but when I go into my messages I cannot see anything new.

4) Is there a guide to what the symbols mean on the left side of the board?

If I understand correctly, you are talking about a notification?

We had to upgrade the latest version of PHPBB urgently to resolve some serious technical issues some users were having but haven't had time to give it a make over to match the old style. We'll be retrofitting in some of the look and feel of the old site as soon as we can.

Thanks, the link is useful for working out the symbols. I have solved the notification issue, there was a very old message in my inbox that apparently I had never read.

It seems like the forum is now extremely slow. When searching for specific text, it often times out.
I also noticed a huge drop in the number of views of the new topics.
For example the last two new topics "Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Necrons units preview" and "Aggressors Dev Diary #5 - Home Politics" (already up for couple of days) have only couple of hundreds of views. When you compare it to previous posts not much older (couple of days older) they have thousands. That can't be right. Something is either broken now or was incorrect before.
