Undo button.

I'm relatively new to P&S, but could someone tell me where the undo move button is, if there is one? I though it would be like FOG 2 but I guess not. Thanks in advance.
Cheers

IIRC RBS had to rework the rules somewhat to make an undo button doable in FoG2. It would be too exploitable in P&S. But as I say, IIRC.

Thanks Pip. I must be a newbie, but exploitable how? Just curious.

The main issue is reactive shooting. When an enemy unit moves near them, units that could shoot take a test to see if they will shoot. The better the quality of the troops, the more likely they are hold their fire until they get a perfect shot (Close range, full arc of fire). Without this you could draw their fire by moving your units in an order that tempts them to shoot less than optimally. (You still can try, but with imperfect chance of success).

If you could undo moves you could "do the hokey kokey" with a unit, moving it and moving it back repeatedly till the enemy fail the test and shoot at it inefficiently. To prevent this, the Undo function would have to not only be disallowed when the unit is shot at, but also if it could have been shot at. This means that the Undo facility would have to be disabled for units within 4 squares of any enemy with shooting capability.

Which would make it rather useless.

One of the reasons why reactive shooting was removed from FOG2 was to allow the Undo function to work appropriately. Although there were other reasons.

Interesting. I guess the days of not cheating are long gone.
Thanks
