Different Army, Battlefield and Side.

This one is another very strange one.

I loaded up my turn and found that my original army, the Galatians (280-63BC) were now the Ptolemaics, I was in control of my opponent's army (Armenian Tigranes), and the battlefield had changed; we were now in desert instead of grassland, and there was a giant, desolate mountain where flat ground used to be. Screenshot attached; the nature of the army even seems to have changed, because I only brought the six skirmishers the Galatians max out at on a Very Large point allowance.

My opponent, bbogensc, posted that he expected the turn might be bugged, so he may have more light to shine on the matter. It almost looks like I've swapped armies with someone else on the server, and then swapped with my opponent.

It sounds to me as if the game has loaded up an entirely different instance.

I wonder if bbobensc can shed any light over what happened at his end.

Sure, I tried to load my other match with CunningCairn several times, got an extended delay and the standard server error message on time out on failed to load turn. I then tried to load the match with Ludendorf and got the screenshot below. I saved the game and then reloaded and got the same screen out of replay mode where I could only click end turn. I thought I may have lost a turn but it might not make any difference to our match as our armies were far apart anyway and we could continue the game. However, after Ludendorf processed the turn it came back where he had control of my army from the CC match. My other match with CC is running normally.
