Remove how . . . Remove?

I'll move this thread out of Tech Support if somebody tells me that there is a function to this setting. Note: I am not questioning the Remove Unit effect itself, but the "Remove" response to the question "Remove how?"

From what I can tell, it does not do anything, not even remove units from reserve. Certainly it does not remove the unit from the map unless I am missing something.

Am I indeed missing something?

Otherwise, it's easy to confuse with "Exit" or one of the other choices, leading to head-scratching moments in scenario design.

I have just remark this morning that Remove does not work during a turn but only works at the beginning of the turn (start turn) :!:
During a turn, Remove has no effect -> BUG :?:

Thanks, Mr. T. I'm definitely going to avoid using it until it is explained and/or fixed. It cost me a considerable amount of time until I realized that "Remove" is redundant with "Exit" in being the only way to remove a unit without leaving wreckage or putting it back in reserve. I saw "Remove" and I used it when I should have chosen "Exit."

The point of the Remove Unit effect is to remove the unit instantaneously in all cases, not have the unit "head for an exit" as far as I know. But if "Remove" is offered with "Exit" as an option and it does not do anything that we know about, it is confusing and should itself be removed.

"Remove" came on board only one or two versions ago, I believe. Before then, the choices were Kill, Undeploy, and Exit. After all, what other way is there to remove a unit from the map during a scenario? (If anybody can explain further, please feel free.)

Finally, a clue that I stumbled across by using "Remove" instead of "Exit" by accident:

Now it makes more sense. As I mentioned in the OP, I moved this thread from Tech Support to here. It's not a bug.
