I’m wondering if I can get some advice on what units other people buy for their corps. In the first scenario of Blitzkrieg I purchased one regular infantry with a transport, one 7.5 artillery with a horse transport, one 37 engineer on foot, one Panzer II, one BF 109, one Stuka and a BF110 since they can both attack enemy fighters and perform tactical bombing.

I like to play with a somewhat historical corps but I also want to be prepared for the latter scenarios in the campaign with a proper composition of units.

I’m experienced with building up a good corps in PC but because of different game mechanics, for example artillery may not be as important as it was in PC since they don’t provide defensive fire. I can still see the importance of suppressing enemy forts and dug in troops with arty but I’m thinking I don’t need nearly as many as in PC, I usually had up to 6 artillery in my corps.

About artillery, i think in late game one nebelwerfer, one hummel and 4 17cm k18 is enough. 17 cm is very important with long range but early game mobile 7,5cm artillery is enough.
I have numerous regular infantry without transport ( they dont need to move that fast, and transport is weak to everything) about 4-1 with tank. Tank isnt so strong as in PC because of supply mechanic (y need weak unit to cover rear and chase down enemy or they will cut you off) and flank mechanic (weak flank is popular trait). Anti tank is brutal and hit so hard, cover your force from tank wave counter attack but you wont need much
About aircraft, this game have escort mechanic too but not like in pc, they have no limited free hit but your bomber will suffer first (too hard to exploit bomber before you clear sky)
Some pro can complete at lvl5, so im waiting for them too

The only thing I'd say about the forces you purchased is that you've got the transport on the wrong infantry IMHO. Normal infantry are pretty good at keeping up with your front line but Engineers (with all their kit) are very slow and really hard to get to the front line to make use of their massive Efficiency damage unless you've got them in a truck or are using a train line.

Otherwise, sounds fine for the purchases for Mlawa!

I agree with Shards. For Blitzkrieg, infantry (except engineers and heavies) dont need transport. Sandstorm is a different animal.
One thing I would recommend is bringing AT support with your infantry, preferably the 5cm Pak. Saves a lot of trouble for your men when facing tanks. Keep them close for support. Also, avoid AA with your fighters and tac bombers and let them reach high exp fast.
