Starting to think about the rome and her enemies theme a little more and decided I would allow the armies listed in the theme at the back of the rise of rome book. That is 280-25 bc options for Thracian, Syracusan, Galatian, Hellenistic Greek, Early German, and Ancient British.

I hope to attend the 15mm.. I havn't done a tourney since ATC. I am looking forward to playing my Hungarians and seeing what happens. Holy cow, 800 points for the 25mm? usually i see 650 or 700.

This could go in the category of "stupid question", but what the heck. Is it still true that the 15mm event will be an 800 point Open? I only ask because it is rare to have one scale be open and the other themed. I don't mind either way, but it--obviously--affects my army choice.
Thanks,
Marc

I just looked at the PEL for Little Wars online and did not see a listing for the 15mm Open event. Am I missing something?
Also, is space limited? I saw that the 25mm event has an 8 player limit, but I know sometimes the limits are more notional than real. I ask because I may be able to bring along a friend to play in 15mm.

The event ID in the PEL for the FoG tourney in 15mm is E073. I'm not sure why it's not listed adjacent to the 25mm event. The 25mm event has space for 8 players and the 15mm event has space for 16. I'd like to say this is notional, but since I'm not involved in table allocation I can't be sure about that. I've heard from 7 people who plan to play in the 25mm event. I don't have an estimate for how many are planning to play in 15s. Given the time of year I can't imagine we're going to be space limited due to an overabundance of attendees....

Thanks for the update. See you there with a 15mm army. Probably either Early Byz or Later Hungarian. Both were favorites under DBM and I want to give them a run out in FoG.

Add me to list for 25mm

Sweeeeet. That answers my question, too. See you there.
BTW, will anyone be up for an extra FoG game Friday night? I will arrive sometime Friday, depending on when I can get away to start my journey.

Andy, you're planning to play 15s right? Do you know about Jeff and Doug? Jeff had told me at one point he was planning to do something in our 25mm Rome theme.
