Kriegsmarine: Operation Torch bug

The main mission objective "sink or route 18 warships" seems to be bugged: at the end of the mission only when I sunk a carrier it was counted for the goal (even if I obviously sunk at least 3 battleships and several CA...) :?:

This may be related to the Check Unit Count bug which crept into the 6.1.7 patch and which hopefully is fixed in the next patch to be released . . . tomorrow? You can read a bit more about the issue here: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 72&t=85476

Okay, I am going to move this to Tech Support because not only is this related to the known Check Unit Count bug, but there is something else I see here that I don't like. I will leave a linked copy of this thread here in the main forum so that you can find it.

First, the bug as I understand it is, if there is more than one Unit Definition listed, the trigger ignores most of them and finds only the last one which in this case is Carrier. That dovetails with your experience:

But the other thing I don't like is this:

I believe the Unit Status in this trigger is supposed to be "Destroyed." I don't even know what "Unavailable" means, frankly. If it is synonymous with "Destroyed" then this trigger may work with tomorrow's patch. If not, it will still be malfunctioning. Let's leave it to the developers to decide.

I assume that unavailable will include units that flee to an exit hex? Thus " destroy or rout"?

Ah! Very good, Shards. That would explain it, if so.

TDefender, this lends hope that the problem with Kriegsmarine/Operation Torch, as well as Blitzkrieg/Norway and any other DLC with scenarios that use the Check Unit Count trigger condition will indeed be fixed by the next patch, possibly as early as tomorrow.

For what exactly? The unit count works for me. The carrier-spec-issue was fixed, too. Sure you are on the 6.1.9 version?
