Now that most of us have finished the excellent Sandstorm DLC, what conditions do you think an alternate "hard mode" replay of the campaign could be used?

The North Africa Panzer Corps campaign had an achievement to finish it without purchasing new German units, only Italian ones. This could be trickier here as you have German and Italian CP and not a single unit pool like in PzC. Maybe restrict purchasing of any German Machinical units and use only German infantry/horse carriage pulled artillery?

No panzers nor Stugs would be a good start? Could ban stukas if you're feeling confident?

Or doing just the opposite and using mechanized units only? You'll have a hard time dealing with AT positions or units on mountain/forest hexes without your own infantry units...

Regarding the "Italian units only" idea, you could add Italian CPs using cheats.

It just feel like winter war but using findland to storm soviet lul. Even italy has full cps and rps of german, i see how hurt when encounter m3 lee, matilda and sherman massive attack
And of course its possible in some pure defense mission

All good ideas! Ultimately, it will have to be something feasible indeed, because all the armour you meet will hurt. The italian anti-AT capabilities are a bit weak in the beginning especially.

I will update my mod, waiting for the next game update

I would love to be able to do an Italian Challenge, but dont like modding og cheating, but if the developers could add that option somehow...
