And it always happens this obviously in the Panzerkrieg "Kursk South" mission.
(I'm neither attacking or moving any unit while the screenshots are made. Just hovering over the battlefield and using the mouse-wheel to zoom)

1.) It appears over the Soviet engineer units
2.) I shift the view to the left. Still there
3.) I use the mouse-wheel (one klick) to zoom-out; it disappears.

4.) I shift the view back to the right, and it appears again.
And sometimes it hides in the top left corner, too.
Otherwise it's not really affecting gameplay.

I could reproduce it on my machine after a game restart with the attached savegame file. It's always the Soviets!

I occasionally get it, I think it's usually when I'm click dragging with right-mouse or zooming whilst the prognosis is on screen?

Yep, it's the mouse-wheel zooming for me. And always at the Kursk scen...

It's not obscuring anything imortant, just looks a bit funny...double-sniper-optics for improved hit accuracy...

Exactly the same just appeared on my screen yesterday in SANDSTORM Tobruk.........

Yeah, it's just an odd visual glitch, I believe when the game is changing the size of the combat preview when you're zooming/dragging.
