Seems we can only post large challenges if they are password protected now, why on earth is that? Can we get that restriction removed? I like throwing out large challenges without knowing who will pick them up, makes for a wider range of opponents. Cab this restriction be removed please?

I don't think there is such a restriction. The restriction is on challenges with custom points set in the Advanced Options. This is so that unwary players don't inadvertently pick up challenges where the points totals are weighted against them.

Yes, but you have to make it 2,000 points by clicking the "V.Large" button rather than by adjusting the points manually in the Advanced Options panel.

OK thanks Richard, couldn't work out why it wasn't working. My mistake.
