Greetings, everyone! In this series, we are going to take the Wehrmacht from its baby steps in Poland all of the way to the bitter end in 1945. This will be a video series that documents my dazzling successes as well as embarrassing misplays. I am going to be updating this series once a week, playing one scenario (hopefully) per episode until I've finished every last one... or failed miserably!

Difficulty and settings are default for now because I want to make sure that I am able to keep the game going and not lose due to any early mistakes. I've put plenty of hours into this game, but wouldn't call myself an expert, so any tips, tricks, and advice are appreciated throughout the run. From earlier games, these settings seem to be fair where I am now, but I can always raise the difficulty if these long and challenging march becomes a pleasure drive.

In this first episode, Germany blitzes Poznan and attempts to use the new and radical ideas of men like Heinz Guderian and B.H. Liddell Hart to see if massed tank warfare is the future. Will we swiftly prove successful over Poland? Will I bank enough prestige by stubbornly refusing to refit units? Tune in and see how a young army cuts its teeth in early battles.

Thanks for posting these. I'd try more artillery units. I'd also consider a strategic bomber - they don't do as much damage but they do strip ammo & reduce entrenchment. Good luck!

I'm glad you are enjoying them! I had this one pre-recorded and so I can't try out the strategic bomber yet, but I will look into that as well as more artillery.
