question for developers

I play on the hard setting.
Was anything changed in the 1.4 update to effect this?
Specifically making the AI units very hard to break once the are in very bad shape.
I'm testing things on the Lutzen map.
I occupy the hi ground so the enemy units in front of me are very shot up. (I have units around me for support)
The enemy are in a condition where any more damage would eliminate them or cause a retreat.
My next shots aren't effective.
They (infantry or cavalry) now charge uphill and/or across a river.
Two charges and they take no losses. I'm getting creamed.
I charge downhill with a fairly fresh unit and inflict no damage but get my butt kicked.
Seems like once they are ready to break they get a couple of turns of invincibility. Not always but almost always.
I can still win (on turns) but this doesn't feel right.
Any insight as to what would cause this would be appreciated.
Thanks

Here's another good one. Same map (Leutzen)
Two squares and artillery (healthy) directly next to enemy cavalry (damaged).
Both squares fire and then the artillery fires and no losses.
Then cavalry charges an eliminates the artillery.
Please!!! Some balance here.

Thank you, Marshall. It saves me wasting my time until the next patch is released.

Thanks for the replies.
I hope I don't sound too critical, but this game is so close.
I know when your done I will absolutely love it.
Developers - thanks for listening.
