Slitherine

I was recently playing a game on a Middle East Hilly map & my foe mentioned how tough it is to tell rough from smooth ground on those maps which I agree.

It reminded me that there was quite a discussion on this forum about those map features under one of the tournament threads but the thread seems to have vanished. The tone on that thread was that something was going to be changed on it but I never heard anything else about it.

What is the status of that change ?

We disagree but we'll change it when we can.
Right now, for reasons that seem simple but have far reaching implications, we can't change the Med and Middle East rough, though an issue with the normal map was fixed.
