Clevedon - Competitions.

Hope I get this right as it's my first post on the forum.
We are planning to run 2 FoG competitions here in Clevedon* during 2009, they will comprise of a 900 point 15mm pairs competition and a 650 point 25mm singles competition.

(*That's Clevedon, North Somerset in the UK.)
In the past we ran similar DBM competitions in April (15mm) and September (25mm), we haven't run any competitons during 2008 but will definitely run them in 2009.
Our initial thinking is that we will run the 15mm competition on the 25th and 26th April with the 25mm on the 26th and 27th September, how does this fit with the current event calendar? The dates certainly aren't set in stone and clearly we'd like as many of you to enter as possible so how do these dates look?
Once we've finalised the dates I'll let you all know.

Will look forward to them Andy.
Hammy,
It would be worth moving this thread to the Tournaments section methinks.

April sounds peachy to me
Any chance of a Western Medieval theme?
It's a tad of a nuisance having a nice Medieval army if all the West Country Tournaments don't actually have any Western Medieval themes *sigh*

Hi There
Just remembered an April date might clash with BHGS Challange in April/

If you are looking at 2009 scheduling I suggest getting in touch with Nik Gaukroger who drew the short straw of trying to get a list of what was on where for next year to put on the BHGS site.

Whitehorses: the Plymouth show has two open competitions (15 and 25mm) so your army will fit in there.
You'd be sure of a warm welcome...

I'd be happy to change the date of the 15mm if it clashes with anything else in this neck of the woods.
I've contacted Nik to see how the event list is coming along, poor chap must be rushed off his feet with everything that he's doing!

Have you
Which email addy did you use? If it is the listchecker one that doesn't get looked at all the time - best to use the nikgaukroger one.
