Artillery question

I enter the woods from a place where I can't be seen.
No enemy unit is next to the woods on the other side.
How does the long range artillery know I'm there?

Hi marshall Mayhem,
The unit might be in the area of sight of an enemy. (line of sight is 1-4, depending on the unit)
Thank you,

I'm sure I'm in the line of sight as far as spaces but how can they see me - I'm in the woods.
Same for infantry if no enemy unit is next to the woods to see or hear it.
It's like the woods aren't there.
It would be nice to hide in the woods till you fire or an enemy bumps into you.
Then give the hidden troops reaction fire.
It might balance the infantry in/out of woods thing.
Anyway I'm sure it will get worked out.

Hi marshall Mayhem,
Great suggestion, we will definitely consider it.
Thank you!
