Sanctus Reach Engine -> BA3 ?

Hey Slitherine Team,

After playing with the new enjoyable Sanctus Reach game and seeing some elements that have similarities to the BA Engine, I was wondering if there were any plans to develop the BA Series onto that engine?

Steel Tigers is sure to be great but I am pretty sure that it will not fill the gap left by the BA Series (fun, light, atmospheric tactical game with charm)

The BA charm should never die :)

Could the new engine be a home for that charm ?

It is certainly technically possible (in fact I often run test cases in a lightly modified BA2 data set). But the real heavy lifting would be new visuals and other key updates. I guess never say never, but we have no solid BA3 plans currently.

Cheers

+1 Agree entirely !

And thanks for the answer Pip. I hope it comes true some day. It seems to me, that the Slitherine line-up without an active BA style game is missing something ....

I cannot agree more. I've been hoping for an official Pacific-centered BA game for a long time.
