Regarding Ju-52 (Supply)
What kind of unit is this? How do you use it?
Thanx to all replies.

If you mean the ones in the few stock scenarios that have them (e.g. Demyansk and Op Winter Storm), they appear automatically on the map edge on certain turns and you just fly them in and land them on the airfield in the pocket to automatically give the pocketed German units a supply boost.

As far as I know, air units can't bring up supply in scenarios unless the scen designer has made it possible like in 'Demyansk' and 'Op Winter Storm'.
if a unit is not in supply it can either move back into supply, wait for other ground units to open a supply corridor to it, or wait for a ship to bring up supplies (below)-
1- The infantry unit is not in supply, notice its '10' strength number has turned a weak yellow denoting loss of efficiency (combat power), and the dreaded red warning dot has appeared next to the 10.
2- Pressing Space shows a '3' on the unit, that's the amount of supplies it needs.
The '4' on the destroyer is the amount of suppiy the destroyer can provide.
The black circle with the dash and -3 in it is a warning that the beachhead is minus 3 supply.
3- Moving the destroyer to the coast solves the supply problem, the infantry is now bright and bushy-tailed again.
4- Hitting Space confirms everything is fine and dandy, the destroyer is pumping 4 supply points into the beachhead, the infantry uses 3 of them and there's still one spare (the green +1)..

Note- other ships provide more supply, and some less, basically the bigger a ship the more supply it provides.

Is there any way to give this supply feature of the Ju-52 (Supply) to Cargo Trucks?
Bring them with you on your mad panzer dashes so they can give you a little supply but must be protected at all times. Just a thought.

Good and logical
Cargo Trucks could finally make useful.
Could be possible (?)

For the Ju52 it's done in the "production" column, so yeah, should be doable the same way for cargo trucks. Haven't tested it, though.

Just did a very quick test and it seemed to work just fine. Could someone else double check for me?
I used the trucks in the Warsaw scenario and just copy/pasted the values in the column Gabe said.

For now - no chance to use the trucks as resource support - no way !

For me, it does not work

(cargo truck supply = red arrow)
If it would work the result of supply would be : 10 -3 = + 7
Maybe @GabeKnight or someone else could make a last test ?

You're right, it does NOT work like this. Although it LOOKS like it could/should.
Using air units, like the Ju-52 does work, though. You can put the cargo truck inside the "air" category, then it works, but you'll end up with a flying truck
Seems like supply from air and naval units to land units works, but not land to land. (But there may be some workaround for the cargo truck, using naval mechanics or such, don't know)

Like I said in another thread, the Aristocrats could give serious thought to bringing out an 'OOB 2' incorporating exciting new features and stuff that the community has suggested like the supply truck thing, my cash is waiting..

(PS- the Panzer Corps people are already working on a 'Panzer Corps 2', my cash is waiting for that too)
