Hello dear developers - at first sight the FoG 1 game has the best graphics ever seen in such games!
Only when i got into a few gameplay videos on youtube my disappointement couldt have been bigger.
No unit animations at all? Shall one be glad the units at all facing the direction?
Please dont tell me go play FoG2 since its definitively unwanted and no option.
Its a purist game sure but seeing the great Order Of Battle who wants to play it anymore?

Exactly the timestealing and nervekilling unitanimations are the reason why me and some others still playing fog 1 and not fog 2.

But for me and sure many others
its much more exciting this way.
Only FoG2 is just too much
plus bad ankles - frustration pure!

Hi Kaal979. No, there will never be a remake. Everyone has moved on to FOG2. Cothyso, who was the main guy working on the revamped Fog1(with the Unity engine) has seemed to have gone AWOL, and I can't blame him as no one is paying him to continue development on this game. He was working on it in his spare time. Hexwars who I believed developed this game has zero interest(I've contacted them)in working on it. As a side note, FOG1 was Hexwars best product. All their newer products have been 'dumbed down' sadly. So we are stuck with what it is. It is a very good product, if not a bit dated, and as others have alluded to far better than FOG2 which in my opinion is a flawed product.
Cheers
Alex
