The failure usually occurs three or four "returns" into a session. Here are the error messages.

It usually will be several times in a row, because it usually means the PBEM server is down or your internet connection is. If the former is the problem, it won't work until the server is back up.

I will run this by the expert in case there is another cause in this case.

The error code seems to suggest that the server was down, although it is sadly a generic "could not connect" error code and so could also be an ISP issue or even that your network stack crashed and couldn't recover. Sorry!
