Under the MILITARY HISTORY™ brand two titles will be released in the Commander series for handhelds: MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander Europe at War in February and MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander Napoleon at War to follow later in the year.

Dang it Ian, WHAT hand Held ?

I own a DS, bought it just to play Panzer Tactics. Yep buying a 150 dollar toy for one game was no barrier.

Now are the games coming out for the DS, or something else?

I'd buy a PSP to play Commander series on a hand held. Will I be needing a PSP?

Dang Ian, if you were a blonde woman I could have some very nasty descriptive terms for that :)

Yes, I would very much like to hear more about these, and which handhelds. ASAP, Iain! :)

i-stuff might be a dying market. Steve Jobs just retired, (and looks to be dead very soon), and Apple's stock took a huge hit. Which makes one wonder if next week a new competitor will crop up and steal the market away.

We are talking about, in Steve Jobs, the man who arguably created the personal computer in his garage, along with Mr Wisniewski. Steve Jobs was also the vision and the driving force behind the i-pod and i-phone.

Look how Apple bit the big one when Jobs left last time; they nearly died during his absence, and came roaring back as soon as he did return. Steve Jobs is Apple Computer.

Hm, I believe I know what you're trying to say, but it comes across extremely insensitive. As for Apple, I'm sure they'll be fine while Steve is on a leave of absence, or if he decides to retire completely.

Hmm he's just a man, even if he was the man that started it. Hey Gates is in a diminished function with MS too eh, and MS hasn't died (although some might not mind that).

One can't work forever let alone live forever.

I'd rather the game was made for a hand held 'game machine' instead of a spastic telephone concept if you want my view.

Triari, sorry bro, But I don't see what I said that was insensitive. I lauded the man to the skies, and indeed he deserves all the praise one can offer. Steve Jobs may not quite be in the same league with Leonardo da Vinci, but he's within spitting distance :)

But he's dying. And nobody else at Apple is anything but one more corporate stuffed shirt.

Apple computing has always been the vision of Steve Jobs. Every single one of the innovative products that ever came out of Apple had its origin in the mind of Steve Jobs.

And he has given us one last gift, a gift whose enormous value will not be immediately apparent to 99% of those who learn of it.

The iMusic store has announced that it will discontinue DRM on downloaded music. That's right, soon you will be able to buy an MP3 from the iMusic store and play it on any MP3 player you like. Even if you own a silly, unreliable turd-box like the Zune :)

Steve Jobs, in giving us this parting gift, may just possibly have sounded the death knell of DRM. And wouldn't that be the happiest day since the Berlin Wall came down?

Perhaps, I overreacted possum, but there is a tone of indifference (or disconnect) to one's personal suffering. I suppose it's all how one reads it. I know I've been accused of harsh emails, when all I did was send a quick email explaining facts.
